How do I order a Sweet Sensation cake?

You can contact us by completing the contact form or by telephone or email to discuss your requirements, check availability and arrange a consultation if required.

How far ahead should I book my cake?

As each cake is tailor-made to your requirements, it is important to order as early as possible to avoid disappointment. As a guide, for wedding orders, we would recommend allowing 6 months to ensure availability and to arrange your consultation and 4 weeks for celebration cakes. We are sometimes able to accommodate orders with a shorter notice period, so please contact us to discuss.

What are your prices?

Each cake is priced individually according to the complexity of the design and materials required. As such it is not possible to provide a specific price list. To give you an idea, we would advise that we have a minimum investment of £650 for wedding cakes. This can include your favours, so if you do not need a huge cake, you can add favours to reach the minimum spend.

Do you provide sheet cakes?

We do provide sheet cakes, which we have found to be a cost effective way of serving a large wedding or event.

Do you provide dummy cakes?

Yes we can provide decorated dummy cakes as part of a wedding or celebration cake display.

Do you deliver?

All wedding and celebration cakes are available for delivery or collection, dependent on the size. There is a fee for delivery and set up of wedding cakes and that will be calculated at the time of ordering depending on the relevant circumstances.

Can I change my order?

Any alterations to the original order must be confirmed in wiritng and may be subject to an additional charge. Late changes are often possible and every effort will be made to accommodate these, but cannot be guaranteed. More details regarding this can be found in our terms and conditions.

Can I cancel my order?

In the event of cancellation, work already completed is chargeable and booking fees are non-refundable. More details regarding this can be found in our terms and conditions.

What is your payment policy?

A 25% booking fee is required for all wedding cake orders (subject to a minimum of £150) and a 25% booking fee for all other cakes. A detailed order confirmation will be issued detailing the final balance and payment details. No further payment reminders will be sent and it is the responsibility of the client to ensure payment is on time. Further details on this can be found in our terms and conditions. Please note that your order will not be confirmed until your booking fee has been paid.
